How much fun are you having in life? If the answer is “not much”, then you’re missing out on one of the most important aspects of life. We’re coming into an era where people are beginning to wake up and really see the value of incorporating fun into their lives. And, not necessarily just on the sidelines as in a vacation once a year or an occasional holiday, but in their day to day lives. Many people, who are beginning to learn how to use the Law of Attraction for creating the lives they want, are also beginning to understand that life should be fun. It is so much easier to perform a task or commit to doing things when we love doing them.

I was fortunate to discover this early on in my life. I got a job counseling people and the first time I received a paycheck, I felt very excited and blessed. To be paid for doing something I loved was just like having the added benefit of whipped cream on hot chocolate. : ) I almost felt guilty, but decided to get over that pretty quick.

Doing what you love doesn’t mean you should stop doing what you’re doing right now. But, think about this…all work and no fun creates a life of struggle. There are too many of us living our lives for our vacations or retirements, neither of which come fast enough. But imagine what would happen if you just began by adding one thing that you truly enjoyed doing (the key word being “truly”). As I talk about having fun, I’m not just talking about hanging out with friends or partners. I’m talking about doing the thing (whether through employment, hobby, or even volunteering) that brings you a sense of excitement, joy, and moreover, fulfillment.

Want to get there? Just start and then, give thanks as often as you can for it. Within time, a funny thing happens. By the Law of Attraction, the Universe begins supporting you. Many people would argue that doing what they love won’t pay the bills. Although you may not know how you can pay your bills and do what you love at the same time, the Universe knows. All you’ve got to do is give up your excuses and your guilt, and start enjoying, if even just a little to begin with, something that you love doing.
